2022 Virtual Coding Update

Saturday, January 22, 8-10am - Coding & Compliance 2022 with John McGreal, O.D.



Dr. John McGreal is President of McGreal Educational Institute. He lectures on eye disease, therapeutics, surgery, coding and compliance. Dr. McGreal has provided education on billing and coding annually during Coding Update.  He will provide two hours on "Coding and Compliance for 2022" on Saturday, January 22 from 8am-10am CST.


Dr. Chris Wolfe is the founder of EyeCode Education, a company specializing in clinical and billing education.  Dr. Wolfe will provide two hours of education "Documentation Guidelines for 2022 and Beyond with Case Examples" on Monday, January 17 from 7-9pm CST.



Virtual Live Event Information - "how to" and education credit

Participating in the virtual live event qualifies for live continuing education hours.  These hours have been approved by the Arkansas State Board of Optometry.  To receive credit for a live event, you must:

  1. Attend the class from beginning to end
  2. Sign in to the event with your name or email address
  3. Answer any questions asked during the lectures
  4. Submit the code at the end of the class to receive credit. 
  5. There are two ways to submit the code to receive credit:
    1. 1)scan the QR code with the OE Tracker app or
    2. 2)text the unique code to the number provided. 

You will receive an email confirmation and link to the classes a few days prior to the event.  Click the appropriate link on the day and time of the class.

Recorded Event

Purchase the recorded version if you are unable to attend in person.  You must pass a 20 question test for each class in order to receive credit.   You have access for 90 days. ODs receive COPE approved credit by taking online test, CPO/CPOT credit available.  (1 OD may receive COPE credit with this course, additional ODs pay $125 to receive the credit)
